I purchased a new laptop but suspect I’ll sell it soon (the trackpad feels odd). In the meantime, I plan to install Linux Mint, but when the time comes, I’d like to reset the installation and run Windows 11 “Hello” as if it were brand new. I want to understand the process—formatting the hard drive and then installing the Windows installer automatically. I’m not sure how to do this, but I’m confident someone can help. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

When preparing the hard drive, remove all recovery options and the setup of Windows 11. You can reinstall Windows 11 using the genuine OEM image from Microsoft. https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/windows11 Once installed, simply power off the system, resulting in a clean installation of Windows 11 without unnecessary software. The Windows key is embedded in the motherboard and will be used during the setup process.
