I decided to post here just in case there are differing opinions from the CS subreddit. After my trip, I returned to CSGO and noticed it felt quite unstable. The FPS fluctuated between 90 and around 166 during gameplay. Before leaving, it stayed above 200, but once inside, it remained smooth. I adjusted graphics settings, lowered resolutions, even disabled advanced audio processing. All drivers were up to date. The only settings affecting performance were disabling the gamepad and removing the FPS max cap command. Changing these didn’t help. My drivers were clean, background processes checked out, and no unusual activity was detected. Other games ran fine. Dark Souls 3 and Rainbow Six still worked as expected. CSGO seemed to have some weird behavior lately. I’ve tried cleaning GPU drivers, using the dev console, rebuilding audio caches, and writing scripts to fix issues. In-game diagnostics showed my SV value stayed steady on NetGraph, except when more players joined, which triggered problems. This is unusual but happened before. Anyone here with advice or similar experiences would be welcome.
