Good afternoon,
I'm currently testing retropie on an old HP micro server box. I intend to run it on a Linux Ubuntu distribution. I'm wondering if retropie works well with PCie cards like graphics cards and USB 3.0 expansion cards, and if I can use a TP Link AC 1300 USB Wi-Fi dongle. My aim is to boot the PC directly into retropie. Any advice would be appreciated!

Retropie is merely the Android (Raspberry Pi) interface for retroarch. To achieve identical outcomes on an x86 or 64-bit system, you can use Lakka, a minimal XBMC-like frontend, or Batocera Recalbox, which offers a more polished experience with appealing interfaces. All three options are Linux distributions designed for x86/64, supporting retroarch and providing convenient frontends.

It appears the OS manages device driver interfaces, not Retropie directly.
