This setup seems quite intriguing. Initially, my PC was configured to block auto-tuning, but adjusting it resolved problems with Chrome and media creation tools—previously capped at 20Mbps. However, downloading Modern Warfare from Blizzard still hit a limit, even though I didn’t set a download cap in the game settings. When I turned it off again, the issue reappeared across all applications. An update now shows MW achieving 150Mbps and other programs functioning normally with the auto-tuning level at normal. Disabling it causes the problem to return. It looks like leaving it enabled might be the best option going forward.
Assisted a friend dealing with a comparable problem. Confirmed drivers, checked cord and modem ports. It turned out the auto-negotiation was stuck at 100Mbps. On the Ethernet adapter, right-click → Properties → Configure → Advanced → Speed/duplex – changed from Auto to 1.0Gbps (router port speed applied, so no extra setting needed)
