I find your scenario quite interesting. It seems possible due to network configurations and security settings. Using a VPN can sometimes interfere with login processes, especially if the admin has blocked certain IPs or MAC addresses. Checking the sign-in portal for clues like MAC address matching might explain the issue. Also, testing with a different IP could help confirm the problem. Let me know if you want more details!

Network administrators are allowed to restrict VPN access for students. The institution has the authority to control activities on their network. We cannot assist with this issue as it violates community guidelines. It seems your phone's MAC address may have been blocked by an admin; only they can lift the restriction. Perhaps you should focus more on learning and less on frustration at school.

I think I should and I realize I'm off, but I had to finish my boring history lesson. Thanks for replying - Nick

Sadly, you have no other option but to reach out to the school's IT support team.
