Hello everyone, I'm facing a critical issue with my old Avigilon server. It was running on Windows 7 when the PC motherboard failed. I saved an image of the HDD using AOMEI Backupper and transferred it to another HDD on a different PC. However, the new PC won't boot. In safe mode, it loads ambakdrv.sys but restarts immediately. I attached the HDD to my PC using an enclosure and manually removed ambakdrv.sys. After that, I tried booting again in safe mode, and it reached disk.sys before rebooting. Can anyone assist with troubleshooting this problem?

The differences in hardware are quite notable compared to your previous Avigilon Server setup.

It's tough to pinpoint the exact details, but I know it was purchased in 2007 and was in use for no more than two years.

It includes every setting and permission required to reinstall the server. I attempted to obtain a license file, but it wasn’t available because I no longer have access to the registration email used for licenses.

Have you attempted to install the previous storage device as a backup drive within an active or freshly set-up environment? Alternatively, consider starting from a recovery USB. There may be opportunities to locate and retrieve the required data...

Win7 didn’t enjoy switching between various hardware setups. It’s also pretty much too late to create a backup while the computer starts behaving strangely—who can say what might get damaged? The main goal of backups is to have them ready before any issues arise.

Recent changes indicate the previous system had a Core-i5 processor, while the new setup will use a Core i7 dual-core model.
