Hi, I just finished a clean install of Windows and wanted to revisit my BIOS settings. I'm using an Asus X299-E Gaming with an Intel 7940X and Corsair AIO cooler. This system was originally built for a stable 4.2GHz overclock, but after updating the BIOS I lost that setting. Honestly, I’m not sure what I was doing before the change. I’m trying to get it back to its original state without much guidance. So far I’ve turned on XMP, but the rest is confusing. I remember the turbo should be around 4.3GHz, yet after rebooting it’s capped at about 4GHz according to HWMonitor. Since I spend a lot of time with all-core performance, it now seems to hit a maximum of roughly 3.6GHz under heavy load. Appreciate any advice!

On my rig, I manually adjusted the turbo settings for CPU clocks and turbo boost to 'Enabled' rather than 'Auto' with XMP activated.
