I'm preparing a laptop for AutoPilot. The current OS is Windows 11 22H2. If I upgrade to the newest Windows release, can I restore the OOBE to 24H2 or will it go back to 22H2? It would help if I had a USB stick ready to load from there.

I'm currently on 24H2 and didn't receive an OOBE notification. Also, note that there were updates before reaching 24H2 prior to being on it.

Today I completed the setup for AutoPilot enrollment. I upgraded to 24H2 and ran C:\Windows\system32\sysprep.exe to reset the devices back to OOBE. After Intune Enrollment using HWID, the devices remained on Windows 11 24H2. The AutoPilot process took a short time.
