A few of us still enjoy the NHL franchise, though many don't. The most recent NHL game on PC was made in 2008. We're hoping to bring this series back to PC where it once thrived. NHL is definitely hockey? Those matches weren’t even available where I am. Same with all those Madden, NFL, MLB games and other sports outside Europe, right?

EA has ruined the NHL games franchise with repetitive yearly updates and modifications that often simplify the gameplay. We don’t require poor PC ports anymore. Instead, check out http://nhl04rebuilt.com/index.php?showtopic=1

You might look for a used copy on eBay or Amazon. The game is almost 12 years old and hard to locate; therefore you could try to steal it. There are no legitimate options for a fresh or digital version, making it essentially abandoned software.
