You need to wipe your system clean and begin fresh. Since you have the Windows 7 key, reinstalling it won’t fix the leftover files. You’ll have to remove everything manually or use a recovery tool.

If you haven’t set up any special configurations yet, consider reinstalling again. Choose to format the OS drive before proceeding with the installation. Any files saved from earlier versions should be found in the windows.old directory. You may remove everything if nothing remains of interest. The new OS should not contain remnants from previous systems.
