Over the past week my computer has experienced frustrating random crashes across all applications, sometimes reaching a BSOD state or restarting entirely without warning. I also noticed persistent browser issues where the "status access violation" error appears consistently, though I rarely notice it. Recently, games have become unplayable, prompting me to investigate further. Initially, I reset the CPU, GPU, and RAM to default settings, but the problem persisted. Reinstalling the GPU drivers didn’t resolve it either. A scan for corrupted Windows files returned no issues.

I’m puzzled by this behavior—my PC rarely crashes during idle or light tasks except occasionally when using YouTube videos. The games seem to crash unpredictably, sometimes for hours without issue. My hardware specs are: CPU - Ryzen 5900X, GPU - 4070 Ti, RAM - 2x16 GB at 3200 MHz. Some lighter titles run smoothly, while demanding ones cause frequent failures. Interestingly, overheat checks show normal temperatures, and performance remains stable even under maximum load.

I might attempt to reposition the CMOS battery and verify that your power source is sufficient and functioning properly. If this doesn’t resolve the problem, there could be additional issues with the RAM or GPU. Good luck!
