I discovered an old laptop in my room, but the problem was it had no operating system. Using a Windows 10 bootable USB I attempted to install a fresh copy, but things didn’t go as expected. There are two partitions—one labeled as Recovery (won’t work) and another with a 456GB disk. If you’re familiar with reinstalling Windows on a machine without an OS, please advise. Secs: Lenovo ThinkPad E455, AMD A6-7000, Radeon R4 4.0Gb DDR3, Seagate 465 HDD.

Start by removing all existing partitions and forming a fresh one. If using the Disk Partition method, open Command Prompt and run the commands to list disks, identify the correct number, then proceed with selecting the first partition for creation. For systems with multiple drives, adjust the selection accordingly.
