I just assembled my first PC and installed a Windows 10 copy from my dad's machine. I discovered the license was tied to one PC only, so I plan to buy an OEM key and reinstall everything. But how do I do that? I don’t mind losing my data—it’s been a short time since my OC, except for my games on Steam. If anyone could help explain how to reinstall Windows, that would be great.

Generate a bootable USB drive using the Windows Media Creation Tool. Power on the device via the USB stick. Set up the operating system format. Proceed to install Windows by tapping continue multiple times.

Avoid reinstalling. Simply enter the code from a fresh copy with "change product key"
