You don't have to do anything extra. Just install Windows 10 fresh. Your PC is already updated. Microsoft has detected your system is up-to-date. They store hardware details or credentials securely within the device. After a fresh install, you should be able to bypass the activation step. If the message about activation persists, wait a day or two. If it still appears, try using the Windows 7 key. If that fails, install Windows 7 and then upgrade. Initially, perform a fresh installation of Windows 10 and allow a few days for it to activate properly.
