I ran several tests to figure out the cause, but the only clue was removing the CMOS battery. The PC wouldn’t power on at all, even after trying everything. When I reinserted it, it would start again, though it still went through a power cycle. I checked the power supply, GPU, RAM, and everything seemed fine. Now I’m sure it’s the motherboard issue—hopefully it didn’t die completely.
