Legacy wiring and outdated components... A UPS is wise to have. What's the age of your power supply unit? Also, did you just move into this home?

Started with a brand new apartment but ended up moving to my grandfather's place! It’s quite a change. I just checked—everything looks the same from September 2014, including the GPU and two 4-inch desks. Do you have any UPS setup guide?

For unexpected power cuts, a failing power supply is the most common issue. Do you have a backup supply you can use?

Thanks for your feedback. I’ll look into options to see if I can get one. I was thinking about purchasing a laptop soon, as the current one might not last much longer.

Consider testing ways to boost your PC's stability by lowering the graphics card's power settings using tools such as MSI afterburner. You might also try undervolting the CPU. Cutting back on power usage could potentially improve performance.

Hey, i'm back with this subject. I borrowed a UPS (EATON ELLIPSE 1200 PRO / with inline power regulation) --> still having the same problem. Does that make sense to you ? I also borrowed a power supply, will try it this weekend. Kirya

Using a UPS doesn't always resolve power supply issues. It provides stable power to the device, but it won't fix problems caused by poor incoming power. Have you experienced issues with dirty power before?

It seems unclear what you're trying to convey. The issue might be with your message formatting or clarity. Only your computer appears to have a problem. Everything else matches your original post. You mentioned trying the UPS instead of swapping the power supply.

I switched the power supply, but the usual problem didn’t appear when starting the vacuum cleaner. I ran AIDA64 and GEEKS3D for five minutes each, and everything worked fine. Cinebench couldn’t be run. Maybe another program could help?

Checking the power source change resolves the problem. The most important test for stability comes from the games you play regularly. If your PC works smoothly with the software you use often, you’re back to a reliable setup.
