Did you reset the CMOS before changing the RAM? If not, it might still be using timing from the old RAM. Also, if the prior RAM caused problems, your Windows could be damaged. Have you run sfc /scannow via the admin command prompt at least once, especially if you haven’t installed Windows yet?
