it looks like most issues are resolved except for the reboot loop. I cleaned and reformatted the SSD, reinstalled Windows using NTFS or FAT on a USB stick—though it still showed as FAT on the PC. The CPU isn’t overheating anymore, fans are working, a new thermal paste was applied, and the SSD is now recognized. It booted into the desktop until I connected the Wi-Fi dongle, at which point it started looping again. I suspect the dongle might be involved since it worked fine offline for a while before that. I’m really confused and need help. With the dongle being the only Wi-Fi source and the cleaned SSD, I have no idea what’s going on. PC specs: i7-4790k, ASRock C266 WS motherboard, EVGA GTX 1050 Ti, 32 GB RAM, Cooler Master GX 750W Bronze power supply.
