I had to start from another drive after my main M.2 failed due to a Windows update. I connected a USB with Windows 11, cleared the damaged drive, reinstalled Windows 11, and booted from the clean drive using the other M.2. After setup, I shut down and removed the extra drives. Now when loading, it appears in BIOS but doesn’t show up in the Boot Menu—only Storage Information lists the drive. I reinstalled the alternative boot drive and it worked again.

It's probable that the bootloader was placed on the second storage device. Simply reinstall Windows using only the required drive connected.
