You experienced issues after the Windows October Update, lost your verified copy, and reset your PC post-backup. Now you're facing a blank screen. Consider restoring from a previous backup or reinstalling Windows if necessary.

After the reset, I attempted to reinstall it. When powered on, nothing unusual appears to happen.

Ensure your data is saved and attempt the reinstall once more.

Toss it away completely, restart, then let yourself feel sad, munch on a cookie, and think for a moment about choosing between macOS or Linux.

I saved the file and Windows confirmed it was installed, yet nothing appears. Even when I repeatedly press the F8 button while holding the power button, it doesn’t work.

They seem to face problems with Windows, and some people dislike them.

I will restart and install Windows once more. I’ll generate a fresh image using the Media Creation utility on a USB drive. After that, I’ll reinstall. Since Microsoft often struggles with confirming compatibility of their software.

You just decided to switch to a MacBook Air. Maybe you’ll switch back to Windows later when things get worse. Your PC’s hard drive failed, which was pretty frustrating.

Don't assume this will occur soon. I'm planning to transition to Apple myself since I've had enough of MS and its claims.
