Hi, I encountered a pretty simple problem here. I had to format the device but ran out of USB sticks, so I used backups instead. Also, I can't connect any DVD drive because I dropped the drive and it broke. My issue is that I need to format the device due to a malware infection. Should I run Windows 10 Reset This PC and perform a full partition format to make sure the malware is removed? This is the only option that seems to work, even though I'm really short on USB sticks. Thanks for understanding—I'm at a bit of a tough spot here 😅

I'm still unsure. I haven't used the Reset this PC option before and haven't relied on it much.

I agree with the same ideas, but I don’t really trust it. I just read the formats, okay? Ffs man, if I hadn’t dropped that external DVD drive...

It primarily relies on the backup partition already configured on the device and performs a complete partition format on the main partitions.

It seems unclear. But it functions.

This function restores Windows only, reapplying the boot partition. It retains your personal data (stored in folders like Documents, Pictures, Videos, etc.) as you choose.

Do you think the partition reboot is sufficient? I might just look for a USB drive to perform a complete format later.
