Hello! To restore your Save Games from the "C:" drive after resetting Windows 10, you'll need to reinstall them. You can download the Save Game files from the game's official website and follow the installation instructions. Make sure to save the files in a safe location before proceeding.

Don't assume losing files is inevitable. For GTA V, the situation seems similar—though possibly backed by Rockstar’s cloud services—or Steam might handle it better. Check online where your games are saved and make copies. Remember, some titles store data in various locations, so you may need all copies to recover everything (GFWL games were known for this issue).

Your game files typically reside in these directories, listed from most probable to least likely: the default user folder, AppData, and then the local app data. If the game needs UPlay, look in its installation directory. EDIT: If you recently reset Windows and didn’t back up your saves, chances are you’ve lost them unless they’re stored on a cloud service.

Certainly! Just paste what you need after the Windows reset.

Yes. It's not the full directory, only the files you require. But yes.

Yes, that's correct. Also, it's a good idea to paste %APPDATA% as well because many of your program preferences are stored there.
