BL - My Windows 11 LG Gram 14 i7 frequently shuts down during the night. Currently, it activates when the battery drops to around 20% and stays on even without a screen, rapidly draining the remaining power. I've tried various fixes. I'm now using modern standby mode with network off. I attempted S3 because my laptop supports it, but it often causes a BSOD when I wake the machine. This seems linked to a USB CAC reader that remains plugged in; it works fine when not in use. I might revisit that setup. While sleeping it still consumes about 3.5W/hr. I've cleaned up several tasks in the task scheduler and removed a USB-related keep-alive entry from powercfg. The positive side is I'm improving at understanding sleep patterns. I'm getting nearer to turning off Windows completely.
