If you reinstall Windows 10 and choose the format option, your C drive will be ready for use while your other drives remain unaffected. You should still be able to access everything on your D and other drives.

Yes, you can retain your files even when using the same drive. If your system has separate partitions for C and D on one disk, you can format the C partition while keeping the D partition unaffected.

Yes, if you move the main drive, the other drive should stay safe. Just remember, your files will be deleted, so back them up before transferring.
