Hello, I’m looking for assistance with getting my computer running properly. Usually when I try to open it, it displays a black screen and asks me to restart or use a boot device. This happens even though my PC consistently boots into the black screen but sometimes loads Windows after about 15 seconds. I’ve been working on making Stable Diffusion work locally, but with an AMD GPU I had to adjust settings for it to function. However, after several attempts—changing parameters and restarting multiple times—I still can’t generate images and my PC crashes when I try. Recently, when I tried to use the image generator, it crashed immediately. I’ve had this issue for a while; yesterday I went to bed and woke up with the same problem. Now, just before the black screen appears, the MSI logo flashes briefly, followed by a prompt to press F12 to open boot options, but nothing happens. My PC has a 250 GB SSD, and in BIOS it’s set to boot Windows first (specs: B450M motherboard, RX580 GPU, 8 GB RAM, 16 GB RAM, 250 GB SSD). I also have an old 1 TB HDD that still works occasionally. If you need more details, just let me know. I tried searching for solutions but none assumed I don’t have access to BIOS. I also have a USB drive with a Windows install that I used before, but it won’t boot. It’s a desktop, not a laptop. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
