Hi All, Just wondering if I can get some help regarding my PC. I have recently purchased a ryzen 9 5950x 3000 series. As well as 64gb of ddr4 ram 3600. I have updated the bios of the x370 gaming just to the latest version. 10.3 i think. The system info photo below was taken just before this but can confirm this has been completed. Motherboard running in legacy mode. 550w corsair power supply and a gtx 1060 installed as well. Computer will post with a ryzen 5 1600x installed but cannot get working with new CPU. There is also a 120mm AOI cooler on the slot. Any help here at all or advice is greatly appreciated I am completely at loss here.
I refreshed the bios and verified the CPU compatibility; the 5950x is listed as supported.
I think the issue might be with the power supply. The 5950x could be drawing too much current. Plus, pairing such a powerful CPU with the 1060 might not be ideal.
