Restart PC randomly
Hello! My computer shuts down unexpectedly (no BSOD, just a black screen and restart) when I'm using browsers like Netflix or YouTube. When I play games, everything runs smoothly. My setup includes: MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX AMD R5 5600, Radeon RX 5700XT, Nitro 8GB, FSP Dagger PRO 650W, Corsair 2x8GB DDR4 3200MHz Vengeance LPX, and a 1TB Samsung SSD. I initially thought my CPU was bad, so I swapped it to an R5 3600. After testing the new model, the restarts kept happening. I'm not sure how to fix this issue. Sometimes I get a crash dump, but it's rare. *******************************************************************************

I tried disabling CPU states, updating BIOS, and reinstalling Windows, but the problem persists. Let me know if you need more help!
RAM problems can lead to these complications. It’s worth verifying your board maker’s compatibility guide to confirm your RAM is supported. Being absent from the list doesn’t ensure stability, but it also doesn’t confirm it will be reliable. I faced several issues with my 5900X setup for this reason, which resolved once I swapped in a compatible kit for my board and CPU.
I’m not confident about Pangoly. They provided specs for my board that were known to create problems.
I'll attempt a fresh configuration of RAM to verify it. By the way, I occasionally encounter watchdog dumps like this, though it's quite uncommon.
It could be anything—ranging from insufficient power supply to faulty RAM or incorrect OC settings. Begin by resetting the UEFI defaults, disabling XMP, and perform a full memory diagnostic. If successful, proceed with a stress test. It’s crucial to verify whether performance under load indicates potential power-related issues.
You're experiencing issues with limited RAM compatibility information on the MSI website. It seems the list only covers a few pages and includes around 25 RAM options, which may not cover all your needs. You might want to verify the rx-5xxx category directly or explore other sources for a broader selection.
