Hello everyone, I'm experiencing problems with my PC shutting down completely when under heavy load. Here are my details: CPU - Ryzen 5 3600, GPU - 3060ti, RAM - Corsair Vengeance LPX 3600Mhz, Motherboard - MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC, PSU - Seasonic Focus 750. Whether it's intense gaming or using RTX Super Resolution, my system frequently restarts. Sometimes I can play for a few minutes before it powers off. It doesn't trigger a BSOD, just the screen goes black and then the machine restarts. Light games like League of Legends work fine. Nothing is overclocked. So far, these steps haven't helped: reinstalling GPU drivers, disabling RAM XMP, running Prime95 on CPU, using Furmark on GPU, adjusting GPU power limit back to 100%. Temperatures stayed below 80°C even in 30°C weather without air conditioning. I don’t think the issue is with the PSU since it’s a reputable model from Seasonic and the 750W capacity should be sufficient. I’m open to any advice to resolve this! Thanks ahead!
Verify your GPU power connector first by reattaching it. The cables are typically arranged in a 6+2 setup, so ensure both ends are securely connected to the GPU 8-pin. You’ve checked for a faulty GPU or a malfunctioning PSU affecting the card. If swapping the GPU to another system works, it’s likely the issue is with your current setup. If problems persist, consider replacing the card.
