Hi everyone, I’m getting ready to upgrade my old PC for my girlfriend’s birthday. It hasn’t been used in about a month or two and has always run smoothly until now. I added extra storage after moving the old drive to the new build, but recently I ran into a problem. When trying to install Windows, everything worked until the system needed to restart. After that, it attempts to restart again but shows no screen and displays a white VGA light. A quick power cycle fixes it temporarily, bringing it back to BIOS. However, every time I try to install Windows now, the same issue occurs. Each restart prevents the display and triggers the VGA error.

Specs: X570F ROG STRIX Gaming Ryzen 7 2700X, Gigabyte 2070 32GB (8x4) Corsair Vengeance RAM, PSA. I’ve switched monitors and HDMI/Display ports without resolving it. I cleared the CMOS. I also tried flashing the BIOS, but the problem persists. When I booted it connected to the PCIe slot but without power, the computer asks me to connect a power cable, indicating it’s detected. I’m confused because the GPU seems functional and properly seated, yet it won’t show up unless I force a restart from BIOS. This is really frustrating—I’d love some guidance to fix this!

I'm working on this, though it keeps requiring a restart somewhere in the middle of the task.
