Hello, I purchased and put together this setup: CPU – Intel Core i9-13900KF at 3 GHz, 24-core processor; CPU cooler – NZXT Kraken Z73 with 73.11 CFM liquid; Motherboard – Gigabyte Z790 AORUS ELITE AX ATX LGA1700; RAM – Kingston Renegade Silver, 32 GB (2×16 GB); DDR – Western Digital Black SN850, 500 GB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVMe SSD; Storage – Western Digital Black SN850X with heatsink, 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVMe; GPU – MSI SUPRIM LIQUID X GeForce RTX 4090 24 GB; Video Card – Western Digital Black SN850; PSU – MSI A1000G, 1000W, 80+ Gold certified; Case – Lian Li O11 Dynamic EVO ATX Mid Tower with front mesh and vertical GPU mount fans; SSDs – two NVMe drives installed in designated slots.

I attempted to reinstall the CPU cooler, re-seated RAM, checked PSU cables, updated BIOS without success, tried running prime95 and memtest86 but no restart occurred. I installed Windows 11, then Windows 10, and encountered issues: GPU driver missing, restarted twice in 15 minutes. Removed the vertical GPU mount and connected the RTX 4090 directly to the motherboard.

After each reboot, I received an error message about a processor APIC ID mismatch (only the APIC ID changed). The system logged a Windows event indicating a time-related issue. I’m unsure what to do next—any advice would be appreciated.

Upgrade to the newest BIOS (F3F). Your current setup can't handle the 13900 processor. Turn it off, remove the CMOS battery, wait a few minutes, then reinsert it and restart. The board might need a few power cycles, that's normal.

I am unable to upload the second file because the process restarts every time I attempt it.

I believe I fixed it by raising Vcore from 1200 to 1368, turning off the feature that applies the same overclock to all cores (memory of its name), and restricting DDR5 to 5600 MHz—currently supported by my 13900K. I didn’t get a restart for hours. My thought was the BIOS update I installed reduced Vcore too much and made the CPU consume more power, so I increased it.
