Hey everyone, my computer has been really slow lately with lots of unnecessary files and background programs. I’m not sure it’s seriously slowing things down, but I want to reset everything. If I go to the settings app on W10 and choose 'Reset this PC', will I need a Windows 10 key afterward? Since I bought Windows 8.1 and upgraded, I’m worried this might cause issues. Any advice would be great!

You don’t need to upgrade or reposition the key after a reset. For a fresh start, use magicaljellybean to locate your key in the current Windows 10 version. This method differs from the approach used for Windows 8 and is created and saved on your PC during the upgrade. This key allows you to install Windows 10 completely new.
