Hello everyone, I own a 1 ms 1080p TN screen now. I plan to purchase an IPS model for home use and keep my current 1 ms monitor at the dorm. I’m hoping for an IPS display with the smallest response time available, which is around 4 ms. I’m curious if there’s a noticeable impact on gaming performance when switching from 1 ms to 4 ms response times. I’ll mainly play Overwatch and BF1, so will that difference matter a lot?
The difference will be negligible. And it's a stupid measurement that really doesn't matters at all. IPS is love. IPS is life.
I find anything under 5 fine acceptable, though it doesn't stand out much on my poor screen...
