Hey there, I noticed your CPU is consistently hitting boost speeds of 4.2 GHz even when idle. That’s not ideal—want it to run at base speed instead? From the screenshot it's evident several processes are active, with most cores idle and only a handful engaged in work—likely around three plus hyperthreading. The Ryzen CPUs appear well-tuned, so leaving them as is works fine. Turbo boosting a few cores lets the rest rest, which reduces overall power use compared to running all cores at base frequency. For detailed insights, consider using Ryzen Master instead of Task Manager to monitor sleeping cores and their activity levels. The active cores may get slightly warm during turbo, while the others remain cool.

This behavior is typical for AMD processors. I'm running a 5800X3D with a 3.7GHz base clock, but it often jumps to 4.0–4.2GHz, especially when turbo boosts. It seems like these CPUs are now designed to maintain higher speeds continuously.
