I signed up to Game Pass for a month to try out Flight Simulator and decide if I want to buy it, and at what level. Well, there's about a week left on the sub so I decided to stop the recurring payment so I don't end up getting another month if I forget closer to the time. What's confusing me is what do I need to cancel or not? Currently there's two lines, one for the service, and one for the payment. I have cancelled the recurring payment, and when doing do it says I will lose the benefits. That's as expected. I still have Game Pass showing as active, with a Cancel button next to that... do I need to stop that manually also? Or will that prematurely end the service given I have a week left on it? My worst case scenario is MS deciding to continue my service after this month ends, and then demand payment for it. I could prevent that by manually cancelling the sub, but that puts me back into the same problem in that I don't want to end it early, and there's a chance I'll forget if I wait until the end. Edit: I found this on MS help page: So it sounds like because I ended the recurring payment, it should also end the sub once the current month is out. Anyone confirm or otherwise this is the case from experience?
