Resolving issues with Windows 10 installation
I attempted to set up a fresh Windows installation because the previous one failed badly. I followed a YouTube tutorial on fixing Windows file installation issues using the command prompt. Still, I’m stuck because the system won’t let me use my SSD for Windows files. I’ve tried converting everything to GPT since my motherboard is outdated, but it didn’t work and kept showing a partition error after several attempts.
Here the update after copying the windows files from usb to ssd. Its says insufficient space then i decided to restart the pc. It just wont let me install
The system chose not to fully automate partition setup because manually selecting each partition via the interface might have introduced errors or inconsistencies, making Windows' self-initialization a more reliable option.
You can remove all partitions by using the Disk Management tool in Windows or the Disk Utility in macOS.
Select the partition at the bottom and explore the available choices. Locate the red "X" icon labeled "delete partition" or simply "delete." Press it, then confirm by clicking OK in the warning message about erasing all data on that partition. Repeat this process for each partition, after which you can choose the unallocated one, click new at the bottom, and proceed with OK/continue.
Only USB installers are available, while my missing SSD section remains unresolved.
