Resolved: Who is your most beloved gaming figure?
Neptunia’s Noire is incredibly adorable and often displays a prickly, affectionate demeanor (a term commonly used within anime fandom – “tsundere” – that describes characters with this kind of behavior).
Little Tina, a character from the game Borderlands (possibly the second installment),
Lucifer from Devil May Cry.
I enjoy that he’s a supremely confident character with a strong personality and derives immense pleasure from defeating demons.
That’s not something I’d personally find appealing. However, I immediately think of Duke Nukem from the first 3D Realms title, *Duke Nukem 3D*. All of that provocative dialogue (which was quite outdated) was incredibly enjoyable! I also really appreciated Max Payne in the third installment. While it largely resembled a linear experience like *Gears of War*, the narrative was superb and his commentary during the game was outstanding—it was essentially a precursor to John Wick’s style!
Max is simply a supremely badass character in numerous respects.
A Lara Croft versus Batman matchup is definitely exciting!
