Resolved: Which build do you believe performs most effectively?
I'm not experienced with PC construction and would appreciate your assessment of which build offers the most optimal performance for the price.
Regarding the initial construction phase:
- Substitute the 3600X with a 3600 – there’s no discernible performance variation between them.
- Allocate the funds recovered from this change to acquire 3600MHz memory.
- Regarding the graphics card, aim for an RTX 2060 Super or a 5700 XT; I'm uncertain of precise pricing.
Concerning the second build:
I have no insight into the CPU or motherboard suitability.
I swapped out the graphics processor for a 5600XT, as it offers improved performance compared to the 1660 SUPER and maintains a comparable cost. Additionally, I updated the power supply unit and opted for 256GB of M.2 storage alongside a 2TB hard drive dedicated to gaming.
For the third build:
I replaced the GPU with a 5700 XT due to its enhanced capabilities compared to the 2060 Super, while also adjusting the storage configuration to 256GB M.2 plus a 2TB hard drive for game storage. If I were advising you, I would recommend pursuing the first build and implementing…
Regarding the initial construction:
- Substitute the 3600X with a standard 3600; there’s no noticeable performance variation between them.
- Allocate the funds recovered from this swap to acquire 3600MHz RAM instead.
- I'm uncertain about specific costs, but aim for an RTX 2060 Super or a Radeon RX 5700 XT as your graphics card.
Concerning the second build:
I lack expertise regarding CPU and motherboard suitability, so cannot offer advice on their value.
I swapped out the GPU for a Radeon RX 5600XT – it offers superior performance compared to the GTX 1660 SUPER at a comparable price point. Additionally, I upgraded the power supply unit and opted for 256GB of an M.2 drive plus a 2TB hard disk for gaming purposes.
Finally, regarding the third build:
I replaced the GPU with a Radeon RX 5700 XT due to its improved performance relative to the RTX 2060 Super, and adjusted the storage configuration to 256GB M.2 combined with a 2TB hard disk for gaming. Personally, if I were in your position, I’d recommend adopting the first build and implementing these modifications – though this is solely my opinion.
