Seems like an issue occurred during setup. Could be resolved after a restart—have you given it a try?

It's strange, but I'm no longer updating to the "October" version. If I had, I'd probably check the options for customizing dark mode settings. Do you recall if that feature existed before?

Check the Settings app and go to the Personalization section. Choose Themes from the menu on the left. In the right panel, pick Windows from the available options.
