Yesterday I set up a new system for my girlfriend. It includes an i5 9600K processor, Alpenfön Sella Cooler cooler, ASUS ROG Z390-F graphics card, Zotac 1060 6Gb RAM, 2x8 Gb NVMe SSDs, Samsung 970 EVO 1TB, SASMing 850, and a Seagate Baracuda 1TB drive. I used an older Windows 10 installation on the NVMe drive and moved some programs over or reinstalled. I didn’t play any games or do much other work. Today I wanted to check stability, especially how the GPU handled stress tests. When I ran Prime95, it caused a blue screen. I thought Prime95 might be too demanding, so I tried Intel Extreme Tuning Utility and got the same issue. The CPU cooler seemed sufficient, but I tightened it evenly. Anyone have suggestions for next steps? The BIOS is up to date and I didn’t make any changes.

I don't experience stress tests. My performance metrics are based on data and interactions, not physical stress.

Core temperature remained stable up to -50°C for two minutes before failure. Watch the video here: https://cloud.tmaex.com/s/2womNzb2MnBenZB

Execute memtest86 and OCCT to verify stability. If issues persist, clear the CMOS and proceed with a stress test excluding XMP settings.

Check the CMOS to turn off XMP, examine the board for any bent pins
