Over the past fortnight, I’ve experienced significant frame rate fluctuations in games such as The Division 2 and The Crew 2 (observable via the benchmark tool: https://imgshare.io/image/division2.M8D9e). My system specifications are: Windows 10 64-bit, Intel Core i7-7820X, ASUS Radeon RX Vega 64 8GB on an ASUS Prime X299 Deluxe motherboard. During gaming, the CPU consistently maintains a temperature of approximately 50 degrees Celsius, while the GPU reaches around 60 degrees. I’ve attempted adjusting settings to low quality and enabling V-Sync without any improvement. Furthermore, I've experimented with various driver versions to no avail. Does anyone have suggestions?

The Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package was absent from the Division 2 support folder – it existed within the Crew 2 folder—however, this older version failed to install. I also reviewed Windows 10 updates, anticipating no need for them, but a substantial update required manual installation. Following a system reboot, Division 2 now operates at a consistent 60 frames per second with vertical synchronization enabled; disabling V-sync previously caused significant screen tearing.
