I’m experiencing performance problems with Battlefield 1 and Battlefield V, specifically encountering significant drops in frame rate from 110 down to occasionally only 40 frames per second when using the highest settings. Despite reinstalling my graphics card drivers and updating all device drivers across my entire computer system, the issue persists. I’ve even attempted reinstalling Windows, which unfortunately proved unproductive and a time-wasting exercise. The problem seems to be linked to mouse movement; for instance, observing the sky in these games causes a significant dip in fps, while looking at the ground maintains higher rates. My system specifications are as follows: an i7 7700k processor with 4 cores, an Asus GTX 1070ti with 8 GB of DDR5 memory, and 16 GB of DDR4 RAM.

Monitor your processor and graphics card temperatures, keeping them generally below 80 degrees Celsius. If overheating isn't a concern, reduce the graphics settings to minimize frame rate drops.
