I’m presently immersed in Red Dead Redemption 2, and the game performs exceptionally well. Setting all visual options to maximum at 1080p resolution, I’m consistently achieving frame rates between 60 and 70 frames per second using my GTX 1080s graphics cards. I believed the system was operating optimally until I observed significant sky flickering.

Both of my graphics cards are consistently utilizing approximately 98% of their capacity, accompanied by temperatures averaging between 70 and 80 degrees Celsius. My central processing unit maintains a stable temperature, typically between 55 and 61 degrees Celsius. Furthermore, cut scenes occasionally exhibit flickering, which I anticipate is a common occurrence when utilizing SLI technology.

If you are experiencing the same issue or have discovered a solution, please share your insights. Thank you.

The number of participants is likely limited when utilizing SLI in Red Dead Redemption 2, making it difficult to verify if others are experiencing the identical problem.

Disable Triple Buffering.
It took numerous days to resolve this issue, and I am now consistently achieving frame rates between 60 and 96 frames per second using two 1080ti graphics cards. I favor MSAAX2 and have disabled TAA and FXA. All other settings are configured at High or Ultra. I've implemented a profile correction using Nvidia Inspector, although this did not eliminate the flickering entirely, only lessened its prevalence. Vsync is activated.
