Greetings,

I'm experiencing consistent freezing and pauses during gameplay, specifically when moving or changing my viewpoint, without a noticeable decrease in frame rate. I’ve attempted the following troubleshooting steps: reinstalling my operating system, updating my graphics card drivers and BIOS firmware, and running a memory diagnostic test.

My hardware specifications are as follows:

MSI RTX 2070 Gaming Z graphics card.
Intel i7-9700K processor.
MSI Z390 Gaming Pro Carbon AC motherboard.
Corsair CX750M power supply unit.
2 x Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro (8GB) RAM modules.
1TB Samsung 970 EVO M.2 SSD.
2TB HDD.
Acer Nitro VG271U 1440p, 144Hz monitor connected via HDMI 2.0.
Windows 10 Pro (64-bit).

A lack of synchronization can result in brief, noticeable pauses resembling a shaky effect. Technologies like FreeSync and G-Sync mitigate this issue. If you replace your cable, ensure it’s from a manufacturer with VESA certification, such as Accell, Startech, or Club3D.

Will vertical synchronization provide a benefit?

Could you elaborate on the nature of the speaking difficulties?

What temperature readings are you observing during performance tests? To observe in-game temperatures, utilizing an overlay such as MSI Afterburner is recommended, as switching to another application will typically decrease temperature readings on a single monitor. Numerous online tutorials demonstrate how to configure On-Screen Display (OSD). It’s also advisable to examine real-time CPU utilization and clock speeds. This application offers a wide array of monitoring capabilities.

Alternatively, you could conduct stress tests using software like Prime95 (without AVX) and track temperatures with tools such as Coretemp or HWinfo64.

Which games are you playing, and what frame rates do you achieve?

Greetings,

The hesitation happens when the camera is shifted while playing using a mouse. The movement feels jerky and lacks smoothness. Within Call of Duty: War Zone, the frame rate averages 95, with temperatures consistently reaching approximately 75 degrees Celsius (ambient temperature is roughly 35 degrees), and there’s no sign of performance reduction due to overheating.

Appreciate those visuals. I’m not noticing anything immediately remarkable, it appears to be functioning as expected.

Please investigate:
https://www.userbenchmark.com/
and share the link to your results page – avoid taking screenshots, simply provide the link.

Additionally, consider attempting these solutions: deactivate full-screen optimization within the game’s application settings located in the game folder. Observe if this resolves the issue.

It appears to me that the system is operating correctly, and the issue of being ‘not smooth’ seems like a problem with frame synchronization rather than a lack of fluidity. Are you certain Vsync isn’t the answer, considering its potential to add input lag? There are alternative methods to overcome this. Furthermore, utilizing a DisplayPort cable would allow you to utilize G-Sync over FreeSync.
