[RESOLVED] 'No bootable device found'?
I powered on my computer and it directed me to the BIOS configuration, indicating that it couldn't locate a bootable device. I encountered the same issue last week after purchasing my UPS. At that time, simply rebooting the computer resolved the issue. Could there be an issue with my hard drive?
CPU: AMD A10-7850K APU (2014 model)
GPU: Sapphire Radeon RX 560 Pulse 2GB GDDR5 128-bit
HDD: WD Blue 1TB (2012 model)
RAM: Kingston HyperX DDR3 2400 C11 1x8GB
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-F2A88XM-D3H
Power Supply: nJoy Titan series 500W (purchased around 3 or 4 years ago)
Operating System: Windows 10
Case: Segotep Racing (an older version)
CPU Cooler: Thermaltake Frio Silent 14
UPS: Njoy SEPTU 600W
Indeed, it was a defective hard drive; it failed to boot on the other device I tested it with. Additionally, it began producing clicking noises, which indicates that the mechanical components are deteriorating, rendering the hard drive essentially non-functional. Ultimately, I had to swap it out in the end. Apologies for the delayed response.
