Resolved: Low frame rate performance on a 2060 Super graphics card.
Hello everyone, I recently installed a new version of Nvidia drivers and noticed an improvement in my frame rates. Aside from GTA V, titles such as Shadow of War, Far Cry 4, and others are now consistently achieving approximately 140 frames per second. Previously, these games were limited to a maximum of 30 fps. I haven’t adjusted any graphics settings beyond updating the drivers.
Also, could you tell me what temperature ranges are considered typical for these graphics cards? This is my initial experience with a desktop gaming PC. My previous laptop consistently reached temperatures between 83 and 92 degrees Celsius, while this new setup is currently maintaining a temperature of around 60 to 75 degrees Celsius when running Ultra settings in most games, without exceeding 80 degrees Celsius during testing.
If your display’s refresh rate is configured at 60 and you activate vertical synchronization, the frame rate will be limited to 60 frames per second. However, with adaptive vertical synchronization at half refresh rate enabled, the frame rate will be capped at 30. Consequently, updating your graphics driver probably resolved the issue by replacing older configurations that were responsible for the problem.
Likely...Currently, the issue appears to be largely resolved. However, a minor problem continues to surface in some instances. This may stem from insufficient optimization or require further manual exploration of various configurations. Could you respond to my earlier message concerning temperatures within this conversation?
