Recently, I’ve noticed that whenever my sister uses my computer to play Roblox with her friends, I consistently receive the kernel 41 error. This occurs despite Roblox not requiring significant processing power, leading me to believe the issue stems from an unexpected shutdown. Interestingly, this problem doesn’t manifest when I play other games, such as Fortnite and GTA 5, which are considerably more resource-intensive.

Here are my system specifications:

FX-6350 @ 3.9GHz - Upgrading to an R5 3600 on Tuesday
GA-78LMT-USB3 (rev. 6.0) Motherboard
EVGA 600w 80+ PSU
8GB of RAM - Upgrading to 16GB of 3600MHz RAM with my new system
RX 580 Red Devil 8GB

Is this entire setup anticipated to remain operational beyond next week? I’m wondering about its value considering that a personal computer might be repurposed for components within a few days. Essentially, I’d likely only consider acquiring the power supply and graphics card. Does Roblox operate through a web interface, or does it require a separate application to run? Perhaps attempting a fresh installation of the game could resolve any current issues.

Event 41 (63) is not a mistake; it’s a response. Windows generates this event when it performs a check at startup and discovers the computer wasn't shut down properly.

It might not appear to be a hardware issue if it runs other programs without problems.

Is this Windows 10? Examine the reliability history to check for related errors occurring simultaneously with the hardware event – a restart often triggers this type of error reporting.

Absolutely, it’s not experiencing overheating because my room has excellent airflow. My processor temperatures typically remain at 52 degrees while gaming, and they rarely exceed around 55. Indeed, this is running on Windows 10, and there are no additional errors associated with the kernel issue.

Concerning the longevity of this system, I'm wondering whether it will remain operational beyond next Tuesday. It seems like a worthwhile pursuit to investigate, particularly since PCs are anticipated to be utilized for components within the coming days. Primarily, I'd consider acquiring perhaps only the power supply and graphics card. Is Roblox functioning through a web interface, or does it require a separate application? A system reinstallation might be beneficial to determine if that resolves any issues.

I plan to retain the existing hard drive for my computer and subsequently purchase a supplementary 1TB m.2 storage unit upon receiving my new motherboard. Roblox operates through a web browser, and despite reinstalling the application, the issue persists. I've attempted various commands to examine the file structure and confirm data integrity on the drive, though I haven’t yet tested its functionality fully due to academic commitments. I intend to launch Roblox, leave it running for approximately 30 minutes – a typical duration until my PC shuts down – to observe its performance.

This problem has been ongoing, and I’ve attempted numerous solutions to resolve it. Initially, I replaced my power supply unit with a CX650M from PowerSpec, but the issue remained. Subsequently, I performed a Windows file scan to remove damaged files and adjusted my power settings. After implementing these actions, I no longer experience these unexpected reboots. You can find further details regarding this matter at: https://blog.pcrisk.com/windows/12891-ho...ower-error. However, it’s possible that these methods may not be applicable to your specific situation; I am sharing the steps that were successful for me.

Replacing the power supply unit isn't straightforward, as you realized.

Certainly. I visited a store to exchange it due to the following reasons: 1) A significant number of individuals encountering the identical problem reported resolution upon receiving a replacement power supply – this was evident from numerous online discussions, forums, and subreddits, including a previous post on this site, and 2) I was still within the store’s return period at my local outlet. I am optimistic that this issue will be resolved promptly!
