My computer configuration includes:
Ryzen 5 1600x with a Cooler Master Lite 120 cooler
B350m - Mortar Arctic motherboard
HyperX DDR4 2400MHz memory
Sapphire Radeon RX Vega 56 8GB graphics card
1TB Seagate Barracuda hard drive
1TB WD Blue hard drive
A 512GB Kingston SSD
A 240GB Kingston SSD
Corsair 650W power supply.

I'm experiencing inconsistent frame rates in games like CS:GO, Apex Legends, and Insurgency. CS:GO typically achieves 80-180 fps, Apex Legends reaches 60-120 fps, and Insurgency struggles to consistently exceed 60-80 fps. Is this performance level typical for my system, or should I be obtaining significantly higher frame rates?

Applications often have a maximum frame rate limit, typically capped at 300 frames per second. This limitation may be due to running the application with demanding graphics settings. Another possibility is a minor performance restriction between your graphics card and processor, though I’m uncertain because of my reservations about Vega technology and related hardware. If you utilize a high-performance computer but set the game's graphics to low levels, you might experience frame rates around 300-250 fps – this is generally considered normal.

Many games impose a maximum frame rate limit, typically not exceeding 300 frames per second. This limitation may be due to running the game at demanding settings. Another possibility is a minor performance restriction – where the graphics card exceeds the processing power of the CPU – though I’m uncertain about this due to my lack of interest in Vega technology and related hardware. When utilizing a high-performance computer to run a game with subpar graphical configurations, you will often observe frame rates around 300-250 fps. This is generally considered within acceptable parameters. View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=peSkkJPsdIw

Frame rate variations are typical. It’s advised to enable vertical synchronization or cap your frame count to match your display’s refresh rate to minimize these shifts.
