Following a recent memory upgrade from 16GB to G.Skill Trident Z with a speed of 3200MHz and a capacity of 32GB, I've experienced sporadic frame hitches. My processor and graphics card consistently operate at their maximum capabilities, while my temperatures remain under 60°C during gaming sessions. However, I’m puzzled by the fact that my central processing unit is frequently running at 100% utilization, even when gaming.

My system specifications are as follows: motherboard – Gigabyte Z170XP, processor – Intel Core i7-6700K running at 4.5GHz, memory – 32GB at 3200MHz, graphics card – Gigabyte Aorus 1080Ti, storage – two 1TB Samsung 860 EVO SSDs, and a power supply unit – Jupiter 1000W.

If all four memory slots are filled, the RAM performance could be reduced.
It may be necessary to decrease the memory clock rate from 3200MHz to 2600MHz, 2400MHz, or 2133MHz.
Gigabyte's database of validated RAM indicates that with four slots utilized, a maximum speed of 2133MHz is displayed.

If all four memory slots are filled, the system’s RAM performance could be reduced. Adjusting the RAM speed to 2600MHz, 2400MHz, or 2133MHz may be necessary. Gigabyte’s database of verified RAM indicates that with four slots utilized, only 2133MHz is typically supported.

When all four memory slots are filled, RAM performance could be reduced.

You may need to decrease the RAM clock speed from 3200MHz to 2600MHz, 2400MHz, or 2133MHz.

Gigabyte's testing data indicates that with four slots utilized, only 2133MHz is consistently reported.

I observed a discrepancy in speed when initially installing the RAM, with only two sticks present. However, when using slots 1 and 2, one stick ran at 2133MHz while the other operated at 3200MHz. I swapped these, and both subsequently ran at 3200MHz. I plan to experiment with lowering the speed settings. Furthermore, my processor consistently reached its maximum capacity during gaming, despite attempting to limit frame rates to 30fps. Even at idle, it displayed a load of 3-9%.

Do all games function this way?
Some video games require significant processing power from the central processor, while others rely more on the graphics card.
