I recently set up a new Windows 10 64-bit system with an SSD, and I’m now experiencing lengthy loading times when playing open-world games like Wildlands and Odyssey. This issue is unusual; I’ve never encountered it before, despite having a clean computer and running thorough temperature and stress tests which all came back normal. However, I can't determine the cause of this problem, or if it’s simply a bug introduced in the latest game updates. I would appreciate any suggestions or assistance, thank you all.

There appears to be an issue with SSD performance when playing games. If you have a secondary drive, attempting to install the game there, even on an older HDD, might resolve this problem.

hello, is everything being processed?
are you saying it’s taking a long time?
could you provide the complete computer specifications?

Using various modes of transport – such as cars, helicopters, or other vehicles – and arriving in game areas often results in the absence of new models. I frequently experience a delay, requiring a few seconds for them to appear. Additionally, during driving or flight, I consistently encounter constant texture loading and level of detail updates. This issue is particularly noticeable in Assassin’s Creed, where textures only load while actively playing and not during loading screens. My system includes an Intel i3 4160, a GTX 1060 G1, 16GB of RAM, and an SSD, a configuration that worked effectively months ago, but now seems to be causing these problems as I’m replaying older games.

Could you provide a comprehensive hardware specification? Please include the manufacturer and model of your power supply unit. Additionally, could you share the CPU and GPU temperatures along with their usage percentage while playing the game? Also, please detail the RAM and hard drive utilization during gameplay. Finally, can you run a malware scan?

My computer has recently been updated with new operating systems, and it’s free of any viruses or malware. I'm using an i3 4160 processor running at 3.6 GHz with two cores and four threads, and it’s utilizing approximately 90% of its capacity during gameplay, with temperatures averaging around 45°C. My graphics card is operating in turbo mode for gaming, utilizing a GTX 1060 with 6GB of VRAM, achieving an average frame rate of 50 fps on ultra settings. A Samsung EVO 850 SSD is used for storage, and I have a Golden LG PSU with 650W. However, I’ve been specifically testing the CPU by stressing it, and both the CPU and GPU are performing correctly. When running the new game, *Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order*, I'm getting 50-55 fps on epic settings without any stuttering or lag, and everything appears to be functioning smoothly. However, open-world games like *Wildlands* and *Assassin’s Creed* present a significantly different challenge, with performance issues I haven't experienced before. After recently replacing the thermal paste and cleaning my PC last month, everything seems improved.

Open-world games require significantly more processing power, and a 2 core/4 thread processor may struggle to run them smoothly.

As I mentioned, I haven’t experienced any issues previously. This is my second time installing the game and playing it, and that didn’t occur during my earlier playthroughs. It's also true that my processor is relatively weak, but I haven’t found a suitable i7 with a “k” suffix at an affordable price yet. However, I plan to acquire one in the future.

It always comes to mind that we understand. Updates and changes they can introduce something so conceivable it has a recent modification associated with it...

There appears to be an issue with Solid State Drives and gaming performance. If you have a secondary drive, such as a traditional hard disk, consider relocating your game to it, even if you are currently using an SSD.
