Resolved: Graphical performance issues causing lag in numerous video games.
Unexpectedly, my games—including GTA V and Assassin's Creed Odyssey—began displaying graphics with noticeable delays. In GTA V, it takes a moment for maps and textures to fully load; weapons initially appear blank, and tires on vehicles are also invisible before resolving. Buildings begin with low-resolution textures but eventually improve. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey exhibits similar performance problems, where characters and horses appear with reduced detail when entering new areas, and the game frequently pauses to load low-quality terrain after just a few steps. However, a recently installed Tom Clancy’s game runs without issues and operates smoothly. I've attempted reinstalling my graphics driver software and running a disk check. My system specifications are: an i3 processor at 3.9 GHz, 8 GB of RAM, a 500GB hard drive with a rotational speed of 5900 RPM, and a GTX 960 graphics card with 4 GB of memory. It's possible that the hard drive is causing these problems, as Crystal Disk Info indicates C5 and C6 raw values of 6—which suggests there may be six corrupted sectors. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
